Witness Against Torture

As of January 5, 2017, 55 men remain imprisoned at the US detention center at Guantánamo, 16 of whom are cleared for release. During the 14 years it’s been open, less than 2% of the hundreds detained have been convicted of any crime. Witness Against Torture, a movement that hopes to raise awareness about the effects of Guantanamo, offer resources to better educate us about this ongoing issue.
