I wanted to support the Silverlake Conservatory of Music not only because my daughters take music classes there, but also because I know Flea and see all the great things he does for the community and the numerous charities he supports. I think that art and music are very valuable for kids because they teach creative problem solving and expression, and give kids self-esteem and ownership that I think make them nicer, more courageous, and more compassionate. I created this year’s invitation and identity for SCM and have a fine art piece up for auction, with all proceeds benefiting the Conservatory. Check it out and feel free to bid for a good cause!
