Giving Tuesday: American Civics

An art gallery room with white walls and a brick floor, displaying several framed pop art prints.

Every day should be Giving Tuesday! If you’re looking for charities to support, be sure to check out my “American Civics” prints, where a portion of proceeds from each print will go to the corresponding charities (details below). This series is a collaboration between myself and Jim Marshall‘s estate, which focuses on voting rights, gun control, prison reform, income inequality, and worker’s rights. The art I created for American Civics gives a face to social justice issues, to cultivate dialogue and encourage a vigorous push for solutions to societal problems. As part of this series, the “American Civics” exhibition was on view at Subliminal Projects in 2016, but now these prints are available online! They are extremely limited, and are produced at a higher quality than my usual prints; all 30 x 40 inches, 4-color serigraph on varnished 100% cotton rag archival paper. Be sure to check out the details below! – Shepard
