Angry Birds Obey Parody

I think it is amazing that my Obey Icon Face has become part of the cultural graphic language. The Angry Birds parody was not something I was aware of until my 8 year old daughter Madeline was watching the movie and paused it. My hope in 1989 was for my sticker experiment in phenomenology to go viral in the underground like a punk rock chain-letter… the degree to which variations of my stickers have infiltrated the mainstream is a coup I never could have imagined. You never know what can grow from low-fi D.I.Y. beginnings!
