I was very sad to hear that Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash this morning alongside his daughter and others. I worked with him on a few projects and he was always friendly, funny, intelligent and he went out of his way to make me feel respected as a collaborator despite my status being far beneath his. It does not matter who your favorite team is, if you appreciate style, grace, and power in basketball, then you have to have appreciated Kobe Bryant. Kobe worked hard and his sustained excellence made him a basketball icon. It was a genuine pleasure to work with him. I’m very sorry for his family.
