Despite the fact that Shepard created the logo for the radio station Indie 103.1, Shepard was a big fan of the station’s musical selection and programming. He often was featured on Indie as a guest of Jonesy’s Jukebox show and even sub’ed in for Henry Rollins on his Harmony in my Head show… Yesterday we were sad to hear that suddenly Indie is no longer going to be broadcasting over the radio. We are in its last days. The story is still a little unclear as to the complete reason for the immediate drop but you can read more on the Indie site below. All is not lost as Indie will still be broadcasting over the internet but one thing is for sure it will never be the same.
