Henry Rollins did a benefit CD called Rise Above, with various artists performing Black Flag covers, in order to raise money for the West Memphis Three, a trio of young men from West Memphis, Arkansas, who were arrested and imprisoned as teenagers in 1993 for killing three eight-year-old boys in what is believed to be a vastly corrupted case. The proceeds from the CD went to the West Memphis Three’s legal defense fund, and I donated all the proceeds from the Rollins posters to the defense fund as well.  -Shepard
