(B. 1977 California) DRAWS INSPIRATION FOR NONTRADITIONAL YOUTH COUNTERCULTURE TO INTERPRET GENERATIONS X AND Y THROUGH VIBRANT AND POWERFUL IMAGERY. HIS STYLE PRESENTS A UNIQUE AND STRIKING PERSPECTIVE ON MODERN URBAN LIFE. AS THE CREATIVE AGENCY MEDIA ARTS LAB PUT IT: “OTHERS SEEN TO TRY TO INTERPRET THE STATE OF WHATS GOING ON IN TODAY’S YOUTH – KAI LIVES IN IT.” AFTER GARNERING WIDESPREAD ATTENTION AND ACCLAIM FOR HIS GRACEFULLY DYNAMIC AND ICONIC IPOD CAMPAIGNS, REGAN PROGRESSED NATURALLY TOWARDS DIRECTING MOTION WORK, WITH A COMMISSION FROM NIKE TO INTERPRET THE ART OF SPEED. HE LATER MOVED ON TO MUSIC VIDEOS AND SHORT FILMS, INCLUDING A TRILOGY FOR THE AVANT-POP BAND COCOROSIE. THE PAST FALL REGAN COLLABORATED WITH ARTIST AARON YOUNG ON “GREETING CARD”  – THE FIRST CONTEMPORARY ART EXHIBIT IN ITS 128 YEAR HISTORY TO TAKE PLACE AT THE NEW YORK’S PARK AVE ARMORY.
