Creative Migration, a nonprofit organization that produces documentary films about art and activism, will present a preview screening of POST NEW BILLS August 16, 2012 from 7pm to 10pm at:
For Your Art, 6020 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036
POST NEW BILLS is a film about Green Patriot Posters, a multimedia design campaign that challenges artists to deepen public understanding and ignite collective action in the fight against climate change. The film tells the story of its founders and contributors, innovators of social change, whose work has reached nearly 5 million people through print media, public space and digital culture. POST NEW BILLS is part of Project Green, an international sustainable filmmaking initiative.
The film features interviews with Shepard Fairey, DJ Spooky, Michael Bierut, Dmitri Siegel, The Canary Project and Mathilde Fallot. Their stories reveal that the most renewable resource we have is our imagination.
