Join the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program and the Friends Center as they celebrate two new murals created by Shepard this fall as part of Open Source, a citywide public art exhibition produced by Mural Arts. These two artworks, created in collaboration with the staff and participants from Mural Arts’ Restorative Justice program, honor community members who have risen above their past criminal records and gone on to give back substantially to society.
Guest speakers at this event will include Jane Golden, Executive Director, Mural Arts Program, and Lewis Webb, Jr., Healing Justice Program Coordinator, American Friends Service Committee.
