The mural features an Oriole perched on a flower stem with oil dripping off it. Orioles are not endangered, but their population, like many bird populations, is in decline… further evidence that our whole planet is the coal mine and all birds are the canaries. A reminder to keep our one Earth healthy for the birds and all else.
