The crew and I recently completed a pair of murals titled “Interdependent Nature” on the Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, Arizona. The architecture of the building is very cool, so it was fun to figure out mural solutions for the funky angles of the walls. These murals, meant as a diptych, feature imagery and symbols that remind us of the intertwined nature of earth and humanity and the need to cultivate harmony. Peace, health, and justice require an understanding that we are all connected parts of a whole.
