I’ve posted this video on Christmas before, so you could say I’m repetitive (which I often am) or you could more generously say I’m establishing a tradition.
I’m not religious at all, so I look at the meaning of Christmas from a secular perspective. To me, Christmas is a time to be our best selves, share with loved ones, and to focus on love and joy. There are few things I love more, or bring me more joy than Bad Brains, but especially today, Bad Brains subversively and humorously mixed with the Charlie Brown Christmas special.
Punk rock was and is an outlet for my frustration (also creativity), but Bad Brains always emphasized PMA (Positive Mental Attitude). I hope this video spreads a little joy to you today and is a reminder to laugh and keep that PMA!
