I wanted to take a moment to share some incredibly important news. You may have heard that big oil company Energy Transfer sued Greenpeace for $300 million in a meritless SLAPP lawsuit meant to intimidate and bully. Well, I’m angry and heartbroken to share that last week, a North Dakota jury reached a verdict in this case and found Greenpeace, Greenpeace Fund and Greenpeace International liable for more than $660 million dollars. This is horrifying, and is a blatant attempt by Big Oil to try to silence free speech and peaceful protest. Of course, Greenpeace won’t back down. They are going to appeal, but they need our support. Now is the time to show solidarity.
