This billboard that I designed is part of the new For Freedoms campaign reaching all 50 states across the United States, plus D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands up through the election. Along with more than 75 artists, our billboards aim to promote civic joy and themes of #The2020Awakening: listening, healing, awakening, and justice.

I believe that injustice thrives in the shadows. When we are awake with our eyes and minds open, we can recognize injustice and combat it consciously. I hope these billboards can help snap us out of a waking trance to become wide awake and vigilant in our pursuit of justice.
