Thank you Sphere Entertainment Co. for the opportunity to put my art on the Sphere in Las Vegas! The “EARTH POWER GLOBE” is a mandala designed to provide a unified ornamental structure that evokes floral motifs and harmony with nature. Housed within the mandala’s shields are images that represent threats to nature as well as images celebrating nature and positive evolution for the future. The images I placed in the mandala are environmentally themed graphics I have created in recent years to raise awareness and provoke discussions about the earth’s health. I used colors in the globe design that connect with the blue and green of air, water, vegetation that allow the earth to sustain life. A huge thank you to The Mayda Creative Co. for helping bring this to life with technical expertise for the creative direction and animation, and thank you to MA+Group for your support! – Shepard
