OBEY Clothing is offering T-shirt preorders of Shepard’s illustration entitled ‘Angel of Hope and Strength.’ This shirt will fall under the OBEY Awareness campaign in which OBEY US will donate its profits from the sale of these shirts.
“I created this art piece, ‘Angel of Hope and Strength,’ to celebrate the courage of healthcare workers, and generally symbolize the spirit of hope, strength, compassion, and resilience that we can all find in ourselves and share collectively. I created this art first in conjunction with Rhode Island’s Governor, Gina Raimondo’s project for RIArts.org, and then launched globally with Amplifier. OBEY US will be donating its funds to Direct Relief, a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Direct Relief is a humanitarian aid organization, active in all 50 states and more than 80 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies – without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay. OBEY Europe will be donating funds to Croce Rossa Italiana (Italian Red Cross).
Presales will run from Tuesday, May 19 through end of day Sunday, May 24.
Expected delivery will be in mid-June.
