If you’re a podcast fan and you haven’t listened to Crimetown yet, do yourself a favor and start listening. The show is excellently produced by Zac Stuart-Pontier and Marc Smerling, who also did the phenomenal HBO series The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst. The podcast investigates the culture of crime in different cities starting with Providence, Rhode Island and the organized crime and government corruption that has run rampant in that city. Our paths converged when they came across the 1990 Buddy Cianci mayoral campaign billboard that I liberated for my own art agenda. The show is great, I suggest starting from the beginning but if you’re eager to hear about the billboard bombing, check out Chapter 14 – the Renaissance Man which I’m a part of.
