ATTENTION LONDON: Shepard has art on display in the upcoming Dread Meets Punk Rockers show on Thursday, October 13 at The Tabernacle. The show will also feature the art of legendary artists such as Lee Scratch Perry, Ras Daniel Heartman, Spill Art, and installations / film screening from The Rebel Dread, Don Letts, and DJ sets by Don and Mad Professor. In addition, Lee Scratch Perry and Spill Art aka Jillie Fressinier will be doing a live painting session. The show commemorates the meaningful and powerful culture of punk and reggae that have continuously inspired the world from mainstream music, fashion culture, and beyond. The event will also benefit The Joe Strummer Foundation, a not-for-profit music charity, set up by family and close friends a year after Joe’s passing. The Joe Strummer Foundation continues to give opportunities to musicians and support projects around the world that create empowerment through music.
