RIP Alan Vega

I was sad to hear about Alan Vega of Suicide passing. I’m a big fan of Suicide, they’re pioneers in electronic music. They began in the early 70s before punk rock even had a name but they became known during the heyday of CBGBs. The Clash even took them on tour and The Clash’s fans threw stuff at them because Suicide didn’t fit what had become the codified style of punk rock. To me being unique, like Suicide, is the most punk rock you can be. RIP Alan Vega. – Shepard
