Jim Houser and I have been friends since the mid-’90s back in Providence. Since those days, Jim’s art has taken form; his signature style is whimsical but thoughtful and precise. I’m a big fan of his work – I own several of his pieces, and I have included him in art shows at my gallery Subliminal Projects. Check out Jim’s show opening TODAY Saturday, June 25, alongside Jeremy Fish at Thinkspace Gallery in Los Angeles. The opening takes place from 6 pm – 9 pm at 6009 Washington Blvd, in Culver City. I’m in Paris, so I’ll be missing the opening, but I look forward to seeing the work! – Shepard
