Money in politics continues to be an issue at the top of the list of my concerns for the United States and I’m glad I’m not alone. Represent.US is a grassroots, bipartisan organization fighting to end legal bribery by working to reform our current campaign finance structure. I’ve been working with Represent.US for some time and I really believe in what they are doing to fight moneyed interests and restore fairness in our democratic system. CBS Sunday Morning featured Represent.US’s Gil Fulbright campaign; a successful satirical campaign taking on our broken system and one that’s helped lay the groundwork to run major statewide ballot initiatives that will overhaul ethics, campaign finance, and transparency laws.
