I thought about David Bowie a lot today and I was happy to see so much love for him on social media as well as even mainstream alternative (what an oxymoron!) like KROQ. Bowie has touched an extraordinary range of people. I wanted to share a couple of pictures of our daughter Vivienne who, when presented with face painting activities at a Library Foundation event, chose not to have flowers and butterflies painted on her face like the other kids, but to do the Ziggy bolt from “Aladdin Sane!”
