For anyone in the NYC area, there is a march against gun violence on May 11. The zealous gun advocates are very loud, so if you believe in common sense gun safety, please make your voice heard. Thanks for caring.
The Greater NYC Moms Demand Action chapter is proud to join the Million Mom March as co-hosts at their Eighth Annual Mother’s Day Eve March Against Gun Violence in the Bronx.
We will honor mothers who have lost their children to gun violence on what is a very difficult weekend for them. We will also read our Mom’s Bill of Rights.
Please make and bring with you to carry eight paper flowers symbolizing the eight children lost to gun violence every day and the eight mothers a day who lose their babies.
