In December of 2006, Marc and Sara Schiller, co-founders of Wooster Collective and longtime documentarians of street art, invited street artists from around the world to participate in a show that offered over 45 artists the chance to completely cover a 30,000 square foot space located at 11 Spring Street in Soho with original work. I had the honor of participating in this show alongside some of the best-known street artists around. To coincide with this project’s 10 year anniversary, the Schiller’s have published Eleven Spring: A Celebration of Street Art, an art book that commemorates the three-day art show, Wooster on Spring. Paper Magazine spoke with the Schiller’s about the New York street art scene and their book Eleven Spring which is available to pre-order now… just in time for the holiday season!
