Douglas Hoekzema is one of the most talented aerosol artists I know and I had a blast painting murals side by side with him in Detroit last year. I was devastated to hear about the tragic accident that injured Hox and one of his assistants while taking the life of his third assistant when their mural painting rig collapsed several stories up. I have spent many many hours painting on the same type of rig, so I can imagine the terror of such an accident. Needless to say I’d like to support those artists in any way I can so I’m sharing and donating to this fundraising link. Please help these guys out if you have the means! -Shepard
