My friends were cool enough to offer a spot on their studio building in NYC for a large Obama piece. It was painted in LA and shipped to Brooklyn to be installed by our friend Kyle Oldoerp, who also took the photo. He has taken a lot of great shots of my work on the street over the years. Kyle’s work is featured prominently in a new book I have coming out, E PLURIBUS VENOM, documenting my big NY show last summer. The book will hit stores early June. By the way, contrary to what the NY Post has to say, I have never been paid by the Obama campaign to do anything for them. All of the Obama stuff has been self-financed… don’t believe the hype!
