“We learn to accept things through repetition.” This motto from obey giant Has a Posse founder Shepard Fairey (www.obeygiant.com) was the concept behind a series of multi-panel installations at the “OBEY: Repetition Works” exhibit showing at New York’s Alife Gallery. The piece, which ran from November 15 to January 15, featured new works including screen prints, clothing, a 360 panel installation, and a limited edition postcard set from this darling of the underground art world and creator of the Giant brand label (which is now refered to as Obey due to legal discrepancies with the late wrestler’s estate).
